About Me

Mother and Carer

I was blessed in 2012 to welcome my beautiful daughter G in to the world.  Weighing only 4lbs 13 at the time, this little miracle was to become the biggest catalyst of change in my life. Unknowingly to me at the time, she was born with a rare condition called Chromosome 18q

From working full time within radio, organising events, interviewing politicians and celebrities. My life changed overnight to nappies, wipes, doctors visits, tests, appointments, therapies and medication. Thus began a life long course in learning about child development, emotions, nutrition, sensory challenges and much more.  The life I knew slowly melted away and I began my journey as a mother, carer and advocate…

Over time my heart developed untapped resources:

  • Resilience
  • Patience
  • Empathy
  • Selfless care

Fast forward to 2018, and I have a thriving daughter, who at age 6 brings me so much joy I can’t even put into words. The challenges have been and continue to be numerous but we face them with optimism, hope and with a backbone of faith.

Professionally I also began my journey in Mentoring, Counselling and Life coaching. I am proud to have been a Princes Trust Mentor and have developed these helping skills with formal BACP Counselling qualifications. My training and learning is continuous and in 2019 I am continuing my professional development with leading coaching accredited qualifications.
